Premio 'Mejor Decoración' / 'Best Livery' Award

After years of NWC where we have seen a lot of customization and decoration of NINCO cars really nice, this time in Silverstone 2008 we will have a special award for the team which run the final with the best decorated car. Customizing the Acura LMP2 with the colours of the team or the country will be this year more than just a team choice, this year the best work will have a prize, kindness of Silverstone Circuit.
USA: ¡Equipo formado! / Team ready!

Team USA!. Escrito por "NINCO Bob".
On October 11 & 12, Model Rectifier Corporation (MRC) held our National Race at Sling Shot Speedway, in Lawrenceville (Atlanta) Georgia, to Select Team USA. We had 24 of the best drivers in the country and after two days of racing on the tough, 6-lane circuit, ending in a grueling, nail biting, two hour race with the 6 finalists. The winners? In third place - Kurt Moser (US lead driver in Verona, in 2006), in second place - Jason Stanley (7th in our National race for the last two years), and in first place - Mark Azarraga, (US lead driver in Stuttgart last year).
The circuit at Sling Shot Raceway is the best in the country (and as you know, the "big 457 foot track is the largest in the world). We were racing on a smaller, but much more technical circuit, with many R-1 and "S" bends... an extremely challenging circuit. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the enthusiasm for NINCO no-magnet racing continues to grow. Lawrence Posien (known as "rolltidevet") from Slot Car Illustrated provided online, minute by minute postings from trackside to everyone reading the NINCO Forum on Slot Car Illustrated. Everyone attending, both racers and spectators had the most memorable experience, and gained great appreciation for the quality and performance of the drivers and the NINCO cars. On behalf of MRC, I wish all the best to all the teams racing at Silverstone, but especially to Mark, Jason & Kurt....Team USA!. Posted by "NINCO Bob".

Suecia, de la clasificatoria a la final / Sweden, from the qualy to the final

The Swedish final will be raced just the weekend before of the Silverstone event. The winner team will not have many time to prepare the final, but at least the drivers will come with the 'racing chip' on mind. Last year was their first participation and they achieved a brilliant 7th position.
